Dancing on Ice’s Wes Nelson ‘to make £1million’ after splitting from Megan Barton Hanson
DANCING On Ice favourite Wes Nelson is set to rake in a £1 million fortune after his success on the skating show.
A show insider told the that the 20-year-old, who recently split from Love Island girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson, is "certain" to be a millionaire.
They explained: "High profile brands and TV channels are queuing up to work with Wes. There are a lot of potential deals on the table.
“He’s been offered lots of TV work and product placement work as well as night club appearances. All of it is very well paid indeed and he’s certain to earn more than £1million within a few years.”
Wes is on track to become Love Island’s biggest success story, after performing so well on Dancing On Ice, which is watched by around 7 million people a week.
He is hotly tipped to be crowned this series' winner at next month’s final after bookies last week slashed his odds to just 4/6.
The show has also left him with an insanely chiselled body, with Wes saying he is in the best shape of his life after hitting the ice every day.
The Love Island hunk last week showed how he has lost his six-pack and traded it in for a rock-hard eight-pack after rehearsing for the ITV show.
Snapping a smouldering selfie in the bathroom, he shared his new look with fans, writing: "Look in the mirror tell me what you see. Hairy pits and oversized hands?"
Fans rushed to comment on his "amazing" body, writing: "WHY DO YOU HAVE A WHOLE 8 PACK?"
Others wrote below the snap: "A sexy beast" and: "I see a lovely eight pack."
Megan and Wes split after she was unable to get over his close friendship with Dancing On Ice partner Vanessa Bauer.
She has since blocked her ex online and insisted she was turning her back on reality TV.
Reflecting on the end of their relationship last week, Megan said: "We’re not talking."

She added: "I think it’s hard when you break up because we got on so well and it wasn’t like we had done anything to each other – it was just circumstance and age and priorities.
"So for me I had to just cut him off to be able to heal and move on. It’s hard."
