Joe Sugg sparks engagement rumours he teases plans to propose Dianne Buswell on The One Show

JOE Sugg has sparked engagement rumours as he talks about plans to propose to girlfriend Dianne Buswell on The One Show.

The 27-year-old vlogger co-hosted the BBC One show on Friday February 22, alongside Alex Jones, and joked he was taking note of guest Matthew Morrison's ways to pop the question.

The Greatest Dancer judge reminisced on his engagement to Renee Puente, which involved a string of A-list celebrities.

The former Glee star admitted Coldplay performed for him and his wife, who he married in 2014, and Sir Elton John announced the exciting news at his White Tie and Tiara Ball.

Alex quizzed: "Elton John… didn’t he announce your engagement?”

To which Matthew replied: "He did, I got engaged before he announced it thankfully.

“But it was at his White Tie and Tiara Ball a while ago and he kinda announced it to the world… to the party, and then the world.

"Chris Martin actually sang a song for us that night so it was just a glorious evening", he continued.

Joe was clearly impressed with the grand gesture.

He quipped: "Set the bar there."

Alex went on to advise Joe on what to do when he decides to take the next step with his partner.

She said: "Low key… you and Diane now, you need to go.  You need to aim for Coldplay.”

With Matthew adding: “No pressure."

Joe and Dianne announced they were an item shortly after Strictly Come Dancing came to an end in December 2018.

The pair sparked rumours they were dating during last year's dance competition.

The couple often gush over one another on social media, with one image posted on Joe's Instagram describing Dianne as his real "glitterball".

He wrote: "I finally won a glitterball, but this girl is still a million times more special."
