Piers Morgan says Jack Whitehall was RIGHT to ‘fat shame’ him at Brit Awards because he’s ‘put on a bit of timber’

PIERS Morgan is glad Jake Whitehall "fat shamed" him at last night's BRIT Awards.
The Good Morning Britain presenter was slammed during the music awards bash last night by host Jake Whitehall.
And Piers, 53, is not offended by Jack's comment on his weight, because he knows he has put on a few extra pounds.
He tweeted: "Shocked & disappointed to see @LittleMix LAUGH as @jackwhitehall fat-shames me on national television.
"It’s just this kind of public negative body image mockery that the same @LittleMix campaigned against & of which I am now a victim.
"Shame on you, ladies! #BRITS."
Singer Jamie Lambert, from Britain's Got Talent's Collabro, called Piers out on his comment.
He replied: "So it's fine when you body shame other people but when it's done to you, you're "shocked & disappointed"? Who's the snowflake now?"
But Piers went on to defend his remark and insist he was, in fact, "amused" by the ordeal.
Piers went on: "Actually, I was just amused by the hypocrisy. I need fat-shaming, I’ve put on a bit too much timber recently with all my ailments."
During the event last night Jack shocked Little Mix by his unfiltered comments, as he spoke about exes, their split from Simon Cowell's record label Syco, before taking aim at Piers.
The girl group - made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock - held their heads in their hands and were shocked by Jack's questioning.
He said: "Real talk can we bring up exes. When you left Simon Cowell, it raised a few eyebrows. Not his - obviously - he's lost that movement in his eyebrows. Someone you do have beef with. Piers Morgan."

Keen to not drop the point Jack went on to take a swipe at the Good Morning Britain presenter, as he brought up the feud between the band and Piers.
Earlier this year Piers accused Little Mix of using sex to sell their single Strip after they posed naked with insults against them painted on their bodies earlier this year.
Jack said: "Piers didn't like that picture where you stripped off naked, which is weird because voluptuous breasts and four chins is like looking in the mirror for him. What would you say to that dutty wasteman?"
