Cara Delevingne slammed Jameela Jamil for mocking those grieving for Karl Lagerfeld
The model, 26, accused actress Jameela, 32, of 'bashing people for attention' by saying 'he shouldn’t be posted all over the internet as a saint gone-too-soon'
CARA Delevingne has hit out at Jameela Jamil after she criticised mourners of Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld.
The supermodel accused the actress of “bashing people for attention” after she branded the late designer “a ruthless, fat-phobic misogynist.”
British star Jameela, 32, said he “shouldn’t be posted all over the internet as a saint gone-too-soon,” following his death aged 85 on Tuesday.
But Cara, 26, who had been among stars including Rihanna, 31 and Victoria Beckham, 44, to pay tribute reacted with fury to her comments.
She replied: “You are calling him ruthless??? Are you kidding me?
“No one is perfect but you clearly don’t know the man so please keep your opinions to yourself and stop bashing people for attention.

“He was born in 1933! I am not saying I agree with some of the things he has said.
“I’m very emotional and mourning his death and feel like I have to stick up for him when he’s not here to speak for himself.”
Referring to Cara’s comments, Jameela said: “I just think it hurts a lot of fat people, and people who he was racist about, and people who were affected by his toxic misogyny, to see someone like that hailed as if he was a saint.
“We can’t just brush aside his bold inhumanity because we’re leading with love. If he’d been notoriously wildly homophobic, you may not be forgiving and leading with love.”
