MATTHEW Morrison 'stole' Cheryl's phone and recorded a message for her fans as he moaned about her still having three acts left on the BBC One show.
The stunning singer, 35, was nowhere to be seen as her The Greatest Dancer co-star took over her phone and social media to share a video.
Matthew, 40, could be seen walking around the Greatest Dancer studio ahead of tonight's live show as he joked about being upset that she still had three groups left on the show.
He said: "What's up Chezza, what's up. I took your phone.
"Where am I? I'll give you one guess- The Greatest Dancer."
He jokingly added: "Oh man, it's been so much fun sitting next to you, but tonight you still have three groups.
Before Matthew took her phone, Cheryl had been busy appealing to fans for their votes on tonight's show.
On one post she wrote: "Remember if you [love] any of the acts tonight they need your votes to make it to the final!"
The judge later let her acts use her phone to record their own clips appealing for votes, with all men group FroBacks, boy-girl group Harry and Eleiyah and all girl dance troop DaneBates Collective, all recording their own messages.
It was revealed earlier today that Cheryl will take to the stage with Pasha Kovalev following his recent announcement that he has quit Strictly Come Dancing.
A TV insider told us: “It’s a great way for Pasha to bow out.
"Cheryl has been a fan of Strictly for years and can’t wait to be whisked over the dancefloor by a show pro.”
However, the panel have been told to "tone down" their raunchy routine.
The planned performance has been compared to sexy 2000 film Coyote Ugly, with bosses deeming it unsuitable for prime time TV.
Cheryl and 28-year-old Oti had planned an impressive opening number alongside their fellow coach, Matthew Morrison, in honour of tonight's semi-final show.
But it didn't impress the powers that be, with a source telling : "Cheryl and Oti were wearing black outfits, but they whip them off to reveal scanty black leotards covered in 100,000 diamantes.
"The girls were throwing their legs around Matthew Morrison, who was gyrating his hips on stage.

"The producers worried it looked like they were recreating Coyote Ugly and they had to remind the choreographers it was a family show.
"They said it must be toned down before the live semi-final."
