Shipwrecked viewers ‘disappointed’ as NONE of the Tigers steal £50,000 cash prize

SHIPWRECKED fans were left "disappointed" this evening when NONE of the winning team chose to steal the £50,000 cash prize from their fellow islanders.

This evening's finale saw Team Tiger get crowned the winners of the E4 reality series, but the contestants were not prepared for the shock twist at the end of the episode.

The team were told that they had the opportunity to steal all of the money from the other members of the team, otherwise they will split the £50k evenly - giving each of the 11 Tigers around £4,500 each.

If one Tiger opted to steal, they'd win it all.

If two did, then they would split the £50k between them - but if three or more contestants stole the fund then they would leave with nothing, and the prize would be divided between the ones who chose to share.

Fans were on tenterhooks as they waited to find out the Tigers' decisions - with many convinced that Liv would betray her team and steal all of the cash.

However, the Tigers proved that they were completely loyal to one another as each member chose to share the money, much to fans' outrage.

Taking to social media, one drama-loving critic fumed: "Someone should have stolen, boring, enjoy your £4,000 lol".

Another added: "F***ing lame, no-one stealing."

A third said: "So disappointed, I thought Liv would steal the money! I wanted more drama on #Shipwrecked."

Others mocked the small amount of money that the winners were individually walking away with after spending as long as two months on the island.

One wrote: "Ooh, what will they use their winnings for? To pay off about 1% of their student loans, perhaps?"

A second said: "So they’ve won 5 grand each? Been away 2 months? Basically earned their wage."

Another tweeted: "Sooo after it covering the wages they’ve missed out on for the last 2 months... they’ve effectively won just over £1000 each?

"Sorry Sharks you missed out on your bills being covered for a whole month! Lol".

Tonight's Shipwrecked finale was a dramatic night all round, with four newcomers forced to choose which team they wanted to join, with the team with the most members at the end of the show being crowned the winners.

Tigers were drawn with Team Shark until the last minute, when newbie Brad chose to side with them before also opting to share the prize.

Fans were divided over the win, with many claiming that the Sharks were the more worthy winners - whereas others tweeted that the Tigers had been more entertaining throughout the show, thus more deserving of their win.
