Kady McDermott ‘dropped by ANOTHER fashion brand’ after calling Maria Fowler’s daughter ‘vile’
KADY McDermott has reportedly been dropped by ANOTHER fashion brand after calling Maria Fowler's daughter 'vile'.
The Love Island star got into a war of words with the former Towie cast member yesterday over claims she mimicked Maria's interior company, Project In A Village, with her new home renovation business.
During the bitter exchange, Kady, 23, called Maria's two-year-old daughter Evie "vile".
This lead to fashion brand Missy Empire cutting ties with Kady, and now claims another brand, Gym King, is also considering axing the reality star.
A source told the Mirror the sportswear company did not "support or condone the activities that are being currently published."
They added that all association with Kady would be removed with immediate effect.
The brand has a number of Love Island stars as representatives including Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland, while Kady modelled in a campaign last year.
Meanwhile fashion fans flooded Missy Empire's social media account with complaints about Kady's comments to Maria's child.
"We are aware of Kady's comments," one response from the fashion brand read. "As of now we have stopped her endorsement with us. Apologies. Thanks again."
Another response to concerned customers read: "Hey babes! Yes we are aware of Kady's comments. We have taken this on board and as a brand we do not support this behaviour.

Kady - who appeared on the 2016 series of Love Island - has since apologised for her comments and insisted she didn't mean what she said.
She wrote: "I'm only human and naturally make mistakes on temporary based emotions, and being in the public eye unfortunately every single one of my mistakes get put out there to the world.
"I am deeply sorry to Maria, her partner and of course gorgeous Evie. I did NOT mean what I said.
"I was massively upset by Maria's comments to me that made me feel SO upset beyond words and a degrade to my character, I then wanted to hurt her where it hurt too so I reacted irrationally and badly.
"It was a disgusting comment stupidly said in a split second of anger, I instantly regretted it and deleted the comment straight away but sadly the damage was already done."
Following her apology, Maria, 32, begged her followers to stop trolling Kady, revealing they had spoken on the phone and called a truce.
