Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom get engaged in romantic Valentine’s Day proposal as popstar shares pic of her pink diamond engagement ring

KATY Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged after a romantic Valentine’s Day proposal.

The 34-year-old singer took to Instagram this morning to confirm the news after fans shared pictures from her engagement party last night.

"In bloom," she commented, sharing a picture of her pink diamond engagement ring.

Last night fans spotted pictures they say were taken from her mum Mary Hudson’s Facebook page of Katy’s "engagement party" overnight.

Captioned “look who got engaged last night”, the post shows two blurry photos of Katy and Orlando under a heart-shaped arch made of balloons and the pink diamond ‘engagement ring’.

Rihanna was also at the party, sharing a pic of herself wearing a pink love heart ring in honour of her pal's unique jewellery.

Katy was previously married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012, and Orlando was married to Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr from 2010 until 2013 - who he shares a son with.

After the post was shared, fans went into meltdown, with one posting: “KATY AND ORLANDO ARE ENGAGED!!! #Kabloom AHHHHHHH. Congrats, @KatyPerry WE LOVE YOU.”

Another added: “KATY PERRY IS DUCKING ENGAGED OMG. I AM ON THE FLOOOOOORRR.”

A third fan posted: “KATY PERRY IS ENGAGED I’M CRYING.”

Katy and Orlando have been dating on and off for three years since getting together at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016.

They split in March 2017, issuing a joint statement saying they were “taking respectful, loving space at this time”.

They were spotted back together on holiday in Japan in December that year, and The Sun Online revealed they were officially back on in February 2018.

And now, they’ve finally made things official.

Katy has previously dated Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy (between 2007 and 2009) and was linked to Robert Pattison before dating Orlando.

She’s been married once before – to Russell Brand. The pair started dating in 2009 and wed in India in a huge, celeb-packed ceremony where the bride and groom rode in on elephants.

But Russell dumped Katy by text 14 months later and he filed for divorce in 2011.

After the divorce, she dated musician John Mayer on and off between 2012 and 2014.

Orlando has a long list of celeb exes too – he dated Kate Bosworth for two years in the early 00’s before meeting model Miranda Kerr in 2007.

The couple married in July 2019, and had son Flynn (now eight years old).

They split in October 2013, and Orlando was linked to actress Nina Dobrev and singer Selena Gomez before meeting Katy in 2016.
