Love Island’s Zara McDermott and Adam Collard preparing for showdown over their flat as they finalise split
ZARA McDermott and Adam Collard are preparing for a dramatic showdown over their flat as they move to finalise their split.
The exes got their own place together in November after spending months at Zara's parents' house since leaving Love Island.
The 22-year-old has been staying with her mum and dad in the wake of the break up as she plots her future move.
She was seen looking miserable outside there yesterday, just days after she confirmed she had broken up with the personal trainer.
A source told The Sun Online: "Adam and Zara haven't seen each other since the break up and have even unfollowed each other on Instagram to try and avoid having to see the other's photos.
"Of course it's early days, but they have still got their apartment to think about.
"They only moved in a few months ago and it was just starting to all come together.
"Now they've got to work out who's going to keep the apartment - or whether they just want to leave it in the past."
Zara has spent the past two months decorating their home, which she described as her "pride and joy".
She regularly posted snaps thanking brands for furniture, including a mirrored dressing table, huge corner sofa and a marble dining room table.
Adam has moved back up to Newcastle where he had been spending 50 per cent of his time during the "ups and downs" of the couple's relationship.
They were meant to fly out to the Maldives next week for a luxurious holiday together.
Adam splashed out on a trip to the romantic island for Zara's Christmas present, but after a series of furious rows lately they called it quits.
Heartbroken Zara has since been liking fan comments telling Adam to get back with her.
Meanwhile the 21-year-old has been flirting with girls on Instagram and spending most of his time in the gym.
He's yet to publicly comment on the split, which came after his wild night out with Instagram model Brittany Archer and his Love Island pals Sam Bird and Jack Fincham.

While Adam does his best to move on, Zara is being tipped to be snapped up by Celebs Go Dating bosses who say she'd be "perfect" for the agency.
If she says yes, it means she'll be following in the footsteps of her Love Island co-stars including Eyal Booker, Georgia Steel and Jack Fowler.
