Joanne won the Glitterball Trophy in 2016 with celebrity partner Ore Oduba, and she's now playing Janet in the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show.

She told : "I think I still get Strictly fans there, I get shoutouts like 'Seven!'

"I only had one review for Rocky Horror that was like 'Oh, we don’t get to see Joanne’s dancing and we all expected that'.

"But I am kind of moving away from the dancing now, I want to be known for acting and singing.

"And Janet doesn’t do that much dancing, you wouldn’t have ballroom and Latin in Rocky Horror.

"I’m quite happy not dancing."

The star, 35, admits she didn't know much about Rocky Horror when she took the role played by Susan Sarandon in the film version.

She confessed: "I had never seen the film, I’d never seen the show, before I got the audition.

"We decided to watch the film and the link to the stage version, and at first I was like 'What’s going on? I don’t even get it!'

"But then I saw the audience participation and I absolutely loved it."

"At first it was a little bit daunting. Our director was really strict on the script, because if we added anything, the audience know it better than us and they’ll shout it out when we get it wrong.

"But now there’s not that much pressure, it’s so much fun.

"Yes, people shout out, which we were prepared for. But in some shows, we get really different shout-outs, and it makes it so much fun because you don’t know what’s coming.
