Newly single Zara McDermott lined up for Celebs Go Dating just two days after split from Adam Collard
CELEBS Go Dating bosses are looking to snap up newly single Zara McDermott for the next series.
The former Government adviser is expected to follow in the footsteps of her Love Island co-stars including Eyal Booker, Georgia Steel and Jack Fowler.
Insiders say Zara offers producers the perfect sob story for the agency after being left heartbroken by her break up with Adam Collard.
She grew sick of his wild partying with pals Sam Bird and Jack Fincham, and the pair finally called it quits after his boozy night out with Instagram model Brittany Archer.
A source told The Sun Online: "Zara is exactly the type of character they look to have on the show.
"She’s gorgeous, fun and clever - she'll keep the men on their toes and won't be afraid to speak her mind.
"Producers know that Love Island stars come with a legion of loyal fans to watch their show.
"Everyone will be desperate to see what type of guy Zara goes for next."
Celebs Go Dating is in the final stages of filming for series six, with new dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson.
They replace Nadia Essex following her explosive feud with co-star Eden Blackman who previously left the show.
The new gurus will be trying to sort out the love lives of former exes Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks.
Fresh out of their rebound relationships with Muggy Mike Thalassitis and Shelby Tribble, it's hoped the pair will put aside their differences as they try to find love once again.
Once filming for series six is complete, bosses will have time to make their move on the latest round of celeb singletons.
By that time Zara may be ready to give romance another go, following her recent relationship breakdown.
She stood by him after he was accused of "gaslighting" women in the Love Island villa.
Viewers were up in arms when Adam dumped Rosie Williams just days after she performed a sex act on the personal trainer in the bedroom.
He was then accused of trying to "manipulate" Rosie into thinking they were never really an item.
After falling for Zara on the ITV2 show, Adam moved into a London apartment with the brunette beauty.
Things turned sour in recent weeks as the couple endured blazing rows.
Yesterday The Sun Online exclusively revealed they had ended their relationship, as a source explained: "Adam and Zara have spent the last week having furious arguments.
"There's still so much love between them but they have decided for the moment that it's best to go their separate ways."

They were set to jet off on a romantic holiday to a luxury resort in the Maldives next week.
Despite Adam "spending thousands" on the Christmas present, the pair have cancelled the trip.
A Celebs Go Dating spokesman declined to comment.
