Grammys 2019: Ariana Grande tweets and deletes ‘trash’ and ‘bulls***’ over Mac Miller snub as Cardi B wins best album
The Into You singer tweeted the words "trash" and "bulls***" while Cardi was giving her acceptance speech
ARIANA Grande mysteriously tweeted and deleted insults as Cardi B collected her album of the year award at tonight's Grammys.
The Into You singer - who snubbed the awards bash tonight after a row with organisers over her performance - tweeted the words "trash" and "bulls***" while Cardi was giving her acceptance speech.
The tweets were quickly deleted but fans managed to spot and save them.
It appears the tweets were not aimed at the rapper, but at the organisers of the Grammys for inviting her late ex Mac Miller's parents to the awards show as he was also up for the award.
She clarified her comments were not aimed at Cardi, but at the Grammys themselves in a now-deleted response to a fan.
She wrote: "nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i’m sorry."
Cardi B was joined on stage by Offset when she picked up the Grammy Award.
The 26-year-old star recently reunited with her Migos rapper husband following a brief split and showed just how inseparable they are once again when he accompanied her to the podium at Los Angeles' Staples Centre as she accepted the accolade for her LP Invasion of Privacy.
Cardi was visibly emotional as she took to the stage and she joked: "Ooh the nerves are so bad. Maybe I need to start smoking weed!"
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker went on to pay tribute to her seven-month-old daughter Kulture and those who pushed her to complete the record during her pregnancy.
She said: "I want to thank my daughter. I'm not just saying thank you because she's my daughter. It's because, you know, when I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete.
"I had like, three songs that I was for sure having — you know how it was. We was like, 'We have to get this album done so I could shoot the videos while I'm still not showing. It was very long nights."
Cardi also thanked a number of artists, including Chance the Rapper, Migos, and SZA for contributing to her success.
