What was Albert Finney's cause of death?
On February 8, it was revealed that the five-time Oscar nominee had passed away.
A statement from a family spokesman said: "Albert Finney, aged 82, passed away peacefully after a short illness with those closest to him by his side. The family request privacy at this sad time."
Unfortunately, it hasn't been made clear what this short illness that ked to his death was.
The news devastated the actor's fans and colleagues.

When did he play Scrooge?
Albert played the iconic role of Ebenezer Scrooge back in 1970.
The movie was a musical retelling of the Charles Dickens classic, which is about an old bitter man.
Scrooge was nominated for four Oscars, and Albert himself won the Best Actor Golden Globe Award for his part in it.
His other iconic parts included Ed Masry in Erin Brockovich (2000), Hercule Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express (1974), Arthur in Saturday Night and Sunday Morning (1960) and Ed Bloom in Big Fish (2003).

What is Albert's background?
Albert, 82, was born in Charleston, Pendleton on May 9, 1936.
He studied Drama at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art before starting his stage work as a Shakespearean actor.
His on-screen acting career began during the mid 1950s, and by the 60s Albert had started his rise to fame.
To date, he has accepted two Bafta Awards, three Golden Globes and an Olivier award among many others.
