Broadcasting on her Instagram account, Gemma told fans: "So after a little treat at Champneys, I'm back on the ice!"

The 38-year-old reality TV star was thrilled to spot former Westlife singer Brian McFadden back on the ice following his injuries.

Gemma screamed: "Oh, there's Brian!.. I'm so delighted that Brian is staying in the competition because if Brian wasn't in it, I was about to hang up my boots and say goodbye. I love Brian, he keeps me going in the competition."

But her larger-than-life personality didn't please pro dancer Hamish Gaman who was attempting to rehearse with his celebrity partner Saara Aalto.

Gemma told followers: "Prince of the Ice is telling me I'm being a disruption and that I've got to go...

"Sorry, Saara Aalto... I'm just so excited that Brian is back."

Gemma then shared footage of herself and pro partner Matt Evers rehearsing in a smaller ice rink at the studios.

The Sun Online exclusively revealed earlier today that Gemma and Matt have had crisis talks to boost her confidence.

The Towie star, 38, was left with painful knee injuries after crashing face first on to the ice mid routine two weeks ago.

Gemma poured her heart out to dance partner  Matt Evers about how her confidence has taken a knock following her dangerous fall -  after she practised tricky 'intermediate jumps' during a training session with Dancing on Ice veterans Torvill and Dean on Tuesday.

Speaking of their crisis talks, pro skater Matt told The Sun Online: "We had a tough week. We had a heart to heart chat.

"We talked about what happened last Sunday, and at the end of the day she was absolutely terrified of skating after her fall the week before.

"Her knees were just black and blue. She needed a minute. We had a session with Torvill and Dean for the judges' challenge and we did the spiral which is an arabesque type move and then an intermediate level jump too. It's really stepping up, it's only week six and they are throwing in the jumps already."
