Jack Fincham to take on girlfriend Dani’s dad Danny Dyer in the boxing ring

SWEATING over an engagement ring will be the least of Jack Fincham’s worries.

I can reveal the Love Island star is about to take on his girlfriend’s dad Danny Dyer in the boxing ring.

And the charity fight night will be more dramatic than any episode of EastEnders.

Boxing With The Stars, founded by Danny’s soap co-star Jake Wood, has already snapped up fight fan Jack for its next match, scheduled for June.

It is now targeting Danny for a big show- down that will make seriously uncomfortable watching for daughter Dani.

A source said: “Jack’s a bit of a pro in the ring, having boxed for most of his adult life.

“Organisers want to give him a real challenge and know coming head to head with Danny would give him the ultimate jitters.

“This time the match will be televised. It would be guaranteed viewing gold and raise tons for charity in the process.

“The only concern at the moment is what would happen if Jack and Dani were to split up again. It could all get a bit serious.”

Back home in Kent, Jack has already started his gruelling training for the bout.

The Love Island winner said seeing heavyweight world champ Anthony Joshua’s weigh-in against Alexander Povetkin at Wembley in September had inspired him to get back in the ring.

And he was among the crowd at the previous charity fight night held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London last October.

Boxing With The Stars was set up by Jake, who plays hardman Max Branning, during a break from East­Enders in 2016.

He has already come to blows with Danny, who plays Mick Carter — but only on the BBC soap.

Meanwhile, Love Island couple Jack and Dani are said to be stronger than ever since winning the dating show last summer.

The pair overcame a blip in their romance when they split for less than a day back in December.

Picking sides for Dani will be harder than being faced with Love Island’s recoupling.

Danny is the second royal – if you count a 700-year blood link to Edward III – to have left Cressida Bonas smitten.

The actress, who once dated Prince Harry, has revealed the EastEnder is top of her list of actors she is desperate to work with.

Speaking at Vanity Fair’s EE Rising Star Bafta party at the L’oscar Hotel in London, Cressida, said: “I love him. I’ve never met him but I really want to.”

The star’s acting CV features major films including 2017’s Tulip Fever alongside Cara Delevingne as well as the video for James Arthur’s 2018 tune Naked.

Cressida admitted she still ­fantasises about eventually leaving London and escaping back to the countryside.

She said: “Acting’s really hard. It’s hard in London. I don’t think I was made for here. I think I was made for the countryside, that’s where I belong. But ­London is where it’s at if you want to act.”

I can reveal his daughter Emily has made her ­husband Nicholas Dewey a director of the Worthy Farm festival, allowing her dad to take a massive step back.

The move comes as the organisational challenges to Glastonbury continue to mount, threatening its long-term future.

Last week Emily said it risked being wiped out unless the local community continued to get behind it.

She told George Ezra’s podcast: “I don’t even know if it will be going that long. There are so many factors it’s dependent on. We’re reliant on good-feeling and where people help us out.

“The location of it means we’re using 20 different farms’ land so we have to maintain relationships with people and we have to take over their land.”

John on song no bull

John Barrowman is back in his comfort zone after closing off last year eating a bull’s penis in the Aussie TV jungle.

The I’m A Celebrity favourite is returning to his West End roots to present the second stint of ITV show All Star Musicals, replacing Freddie Flintoff as host.

I can reveal the show has been given the go-ahead for filming.

It will be shown in the spring, when seven celebrities battle it out by singing their favourite tunes at London’s Palladium Theatre.

My telly source said: “All Star Musicals was a big hit in 2017 and has been recommissioned for a second one-off show fronted by John.

“John made his West End debut 30 years ago and he lives and breathes all things song, stage and showbiz.

“After coming third on I’m A Celeb he was a no-brainer for bosses.

“The debut show saw seven celebrities each perform a number from a hit musical and reminded viewers what makes British theatre so special.

“It was a great format so it’s likely to be kept the same but with a whole new batch of celebrities.”

Keeping John from taking over centre stage will probably be the hardest challenge.

Kris dad doc bid

Kris Donnelly, the ex-boyfriend of David Beckham’s sister Joanne, is bringing his custody battle plight to TV.

The former Big Brother star is in talks with ITV and Channel 4 to discuss his 50/50 access campaign dubbed “Peggy’s Law” in a documentary.

Kris launched the fight for better custody laws after he claimed he had been restricted from seeing daughter Peggy following his split from Joanne in June last year.

A source said: “Kris is doing everything he can to see his daughter regularly. A documentary is just the beginning.”

In a promo for his campaign, spearheaded by Fathers 4 Justice, Kris is heard saying: “I didn’t sign up to be a 10 per cent dad. I signed up to be a 100 per cent dad.”

David Bowie’s former collaborator Nile ­Rodgers reckons the late star’s family would approve of him getting the hologram treatment if a new stage show was put together.

He insisted: “I think they would love it. I am really curious as to how they would perform this.
