Gemma Atkinson gushes she’s ‘very much in love’ with Gorka Marquez after shock pregnancy announcement

GEMMA Atkinson has gushed that she is "very much in love" with Gorka Marquez after their shock pregnancy announcement.

The former Hollyoaks star revealed that she feels "very lucky" to be expecting her first baby with the Strictly Come Dancing professional after meeting on the show in 2017.

The happy couple confirmed the news that they are expecting on Instagram this morning with a picture of Gemma's dogs Norm and Ollie.

And after an outpouring of well wishes from fans and fellow Strictly stars, Gemma took to Instagram with an emotional message.

"Thank you all so much for your lovely messages," she wrote.

"We're so excited for this journey ahead and feel very lucky and very much in love. Thank you."

Meanwhile, Gorka thanked Strictly pals including Aston Merrygold, Oti Mabuse and Katie Piper for their messages of congratulations.

Announcing their happy news earlier today, the pair shared a picture with one of their dogs wearing a sign reading "Guess what...mum's pregnant" while the other wore one which said: "We're going to be big brothers!"

Gorka, 28, wrote in the caption: "@glouiseatkinson Thank you for the greatest gift in life.
"Myself and Gem are beyond thrilled to be welcoming our new family member later this year! Baby Marquez.

"Norm and ollie can’t wait to start their big brother duties."

Gemma, 34, shared the same picture and wrote: "And what Amazing big brothers they will be!

"Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year.

"Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already."

Gemma and Gorka met on the BBC One dancing show during the 2017 series.
