THE Jump has been axed by Channel 4 after 34 celebrity contestants suffered injuries over four series.
The bone-breaking celebrity skiing show, which has been branded the most dangerous show on telly, will not return in 2019.
The winter sports competition was “rested” last year but won’t return in 2019 either.
New C4 boss Ian Katz told there are “no plans” for it to return.
“You can never say never, but we’ve got no plans,” he said.
The news comes after it was revealed Beth Tweddle is suing The Jump after being left with life-changing injuries following an accident on the 2016 series.
The Olympic bronze medal-winning gymnast had to undergo surgery on her neck and spinal cord after crashing into a barrier while training for the Channel 4 show.
The Jump, fronted by Davina McCall previously faced calls for the axe after celebs suffered horror falls and injuries.
Former Strictly dancer Ola Jordan said her leg will “never be the same” after having to undergo surgery on her knee after an accident on the 2015 series.
Actress Tina Hobley was still using a cane more a year after injuring her knee and shoulder and breaking her arm in two places, while Olympic gymnast Tweddle broke two vertebrae in her neck and had to have part of her hip removed.
Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding blamed chronic pain from a knee injury in the 2016 series for her flop performance in Ghost: The Musical, which saw her replaced after four months.
