Corrie’s Katie McGlynn & Sean Ward AND Jimmi Harkishin and Dolly Rose-Campbell snapped flirting after the NTAs
An onlooker said Katie and Sean were 'huddled in a corner and kissed passionately' at the after-party and 'didn't mind who was watching'
THERE’S always an affair sizzling on Corrie – but I can reveal actors locking lips off-screen too.
Here are two flirtations from Weatherfield that happened at the National Television Awards in London last week.
Katie McGlynn, who plays Sinead Tinker, and Sean Ward, who starred as Callum Logan, brazenly copped off with each other at the bash.
Meanwhile, Jimmi Harkishin — shopkeeper Dev Alahan — shared a 2am embrace with Dolly Rose-Campbell, who plays loud-mouthed Gemma Winter and who recently split from boyfriend Benji Roberts.
An onlooker said: “Katie and Sean had been getting close all night. They were huddled in a corner at the after-party. They kissed passionately and didn’t mind who was watching.
“They were all over each other. Elsewhere, Jimmi and Dolly were getting close all evening before heading to a hotel where Corrie stars were staying.
They linked hands before slipping into a lift.
A witness said: “Jimmi was having the time of his life.”
A spokeswoman for Katie said: “Katie has a platonic friendship with Sean and there is nothing more to it.”
Perhaps writers can take a leaf out of the cast’s book.

Gemma’s bedtime buddies
Gemma Atkinson may be dating her former Strictly Come Dancing co-star Gorka Marquez – but he has had to get used to sharing her with two cute lads.
They feature in Britain’s Top 100 Dogs Live 2019, which is screened on ITV tomorrow at 7.30pm.
Gemma said: “I walk in my bedroom and they are already in bed looking at me. Sometimes my fella is like, ‘Where am I supposed to sleep? The dogs are on my side’.
“I’m like, ‘Just squeeze in, you’ll be fine’.
Sounds very cosy.

Ed heads for peak fitness
A nation of cynics rolled their eyes when he signed for Strictly – but Ed Balls proved them wrong.
Now I can reveal the former Labour MP is setting himself another challenge by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa for Comic Relief along with Strictly’s Shirley Ballas.
But first Ed must restore his fitness levels to those he had on the dance contest in 2016.
A TV insider said: “He indulged a bit over Christmas and will be the oldest man taking part so doesn’t want to slow the group down.
“But Ed is determined to get to his peak physical fitness.”
Shirley will start training next month for the celebrity trip after the Strictly tour ends.
Dermot and the Doctor
It looks like Doctor Who has got a new companion.
Latest Time Lord Jodie Whittaker has struck up an unlikely friendship with X Factor host and DJ Dermot O’Leary after meeting on his Radio 2 show.
In an exclusive interview, Dermot said: “I still get really excited when I meet actors and actresses. I’m lucky, I’ve got to know Jodie quite well.
“She came on the radio show, we got on and we share a taste in music. We ended up going to a couple of gigs together. She’s lovely.”
He said: “She’s a real hoot. I’d love a cameo in Doctor Who.” Your time might come, Dermot.
