Adam Levine

As the lead singer Adam is the most recognised of the lot.

Plus his multiple high-profile romances with supermodels haven't hurt his profile either.

The singer was born on March 18, 1979, in California.

The foursome along with guitarist James Valentine reformed as Maroon 5 and have never looked back.

In 2012 he announced that he would be taking a break from the band to focus on his studies of "music and the healing arts".

But two years later he returned to the band in time for their fifth studio album - V.

He was born on May 13 in Austin, Texas and has been jamming with pals Jesse and Adam since high school.

After their band Kara's Flowers broke up he studied at UCLA.
