FORMER Strictly star Brendan Cole branded Dancing On Ice's Jason Gardner "vicious" following his comments about Gemma Collins.
The 42-year-old choreographer also said that the Towie star's skating partner Matt Evers should have defended her during her row with the judge on Sunday night's show.

Speaking on yesterday's Loose Women, he dished: "One of my criticisms on Strictly now is that the pros don't really say that much, especially when their partners are being critiqued.
"When you've got Jason Gardiner sitting there going, 'Do you know what darling, that was awful,' - he's vicious! I don't agree with vicious. if you've got something to say, say it... constructively."
Brendan then weighed in on the argument that has divided the nation, saying that both had handled it badly.
He explained: "Well I don't know the ins and outs of the story behind it, it sounds like she has a real problem with something he's done.

"Whether he's done it or not, I don't know?
"She didn't come across particularly well when she did it, in my opinion.
"However, if she feels it, then she should be saying it. But it's how you say it."
He then added of Jason: "You don't speak to someone like that in normal life."

Brendan's comments came before The Sun revealed that Jason is planning to sue Gemma for defamation after she accused him of selling stories on her.
An insider said: “Jason has made Gemma aware that he intends to sue her. He’s livid.
“He insists that all he did was give an interview to The Sun, where he was asked about lots of things, including Gemma."
