Calvin Harris to perform at Brit Awards alongside Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man

CALVIN Harris has headlined festivals around the world and had a money-spinning Las Vegas residency – and now he is gearing up for what is sure to be yet another huge show.

The Scottish DJ will perform at next month’s Brit Awards – and he is bringing his superstar friends with him.

He will be joined on stage at the O2 Arena in South London for the ceremony on February 20 by recent collaborators Dua Lipa, Sam Smith and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.

A Brits insider told me: “We have genuinely been trying to persuade Calvin to perform at the Brits for the past decade. He has had such a massive international career and is one of the most successful British artists of the 21st century.

“Although he has the songs One Kiss with Dua, Promises with Sam and Giant with Rag’N’Bone Man, they are yet to decide on what they will sing.

“It could be some of those or perhaps other hits from Calvin’s mammoth back catalogue.

“Whatever happens, it is sure to be one of the most memorable performances of the evening.”

I have already revealed that Little Mix, George Ezra and Jorja Smith will also be performing at the bash, hosted by Jack Whitehall.

Calvin, who was had ten UK No1 singles, including 2017’s Feels with Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean, has been nominated for a Brit 16 times but is yet to win a single award.

And despite being a shoo-in this year after One Kiss was nominated for British Single and British Video, Calvin – who last year was named the highest-earning DJ for the sixth consecutive time with £36.7million – admitted he wasn’t bothered if he landed a gong or not.

He said: “I mean, statistically One Kiss was the biggest record of the year.

“I just work in facts. If I get an award I will accept it and say thanks. But technically I’ve already had the biggest record of the year, so give it to someone else.”

My money is still on you, Calvin.
