GEMMA Collins was pictured having a very animated chat with Michelle Keegan the morning after the National Television Awards.

Our Girl actress Michelle, 31, looked enthralled by Gemma's deep converstation, which featured plenty of expressive hand gestures, as they stood in the lobby of their London hotel.

The TV star, who was nominated for Best Drama Performance at the awards, opted to go make-up free following a night of glamour and left her brunette locks in a straight style while Gemma, 37, appeared to be getting something off her chest from the night before.

Standing at the hotel's reception desk, Michelle kept it casual a camel-coloured wool jacket, carried a black dress bag over her arms and draped a Louis Vuitton backpack over her shoulder.

Dancing On Ice's Gemma followed Michelle's casual appearance and also chose to remain make-up free as she prepared to leave her hotel.

She swapped her dramatic black gown for a black cardigan with stripe detailing and trousers for her early morning exit.

The pair have known one-another for a number of years as Gemma's other half James 'Arg' Argent is Michelle's husband Mark Wright's closest and oldest pals.

Last night Gemma looked glamorous in a black off the shoulder gown with a full skirt and thigh high split.

She was joined by loving boyfriend James, but also found time to plant a kiss on the cheek of Piers Morgan.

The Good Morning Britain presenter had defended Gemma following her spat with Jason during Sunday's show.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Piers had said of Gemma's participation on Dancing on Ice: "I admire the attempt to try and be better than she clearly is. I admire her, already she’s doing that better than I could do."

Sharing the snap on Instagram, Piers wrote: ";Every cloud... @gemmacollins1 #NTAs."

One person who was missing from last night's festivities was Dancing On Ice judge Jason Gardiner.

The icy judge gave the NTAs a swerve last night, avoiding coming face-to-face with Gemma in the wake of their feud.

The trouble between them began on Saturday when Jason told The Sun: "I can always see who’s lazy. Gemma is lazy. She doesn't look like her heart is in it at all."

He added: "I do despair — at the state of our society," saying Gemma thought she was "better than Beyonce".

However, the bust-up tumbled onto the air the next day when Gemma interrupted Jason during his critique of her with Matt Evers, during which he said she lacked elegance.

She butted in: "Can I just say something? Maybe if you didn’t sell stories on me, I wouldn’t be so upset this week - so take that."
