PIERS Morgan didn't hide the fact he was still reeling about Good Morning Britain's loss at the National Television Awards on today's show.

The outspoken host, 53, said he was "livid" after This Morning scooped the prize for Best Daytime Show.

Poking fun at their loss, today's show began with Piers and the rest of the GMB team (Susanna Reid, Charlotte Hawkins and Richard Arnold) looking glum.

Piers then sarcastically opened with: "Well Good Morning Britain, thanks."
Susanna then interjected: "What do we have to do? I promised to be hammered. Completely sober as a judge."
Piers - who had a thunderous expression when he watched rivals This Morning pick up their gong last night - then reminded viewers that he promised to go against his carnivore beliefs and turn vegan.

He then ripped into Ant McPartlin's Best TV Presenter win following his ten months out from TV.
He mocked: "It just shows all you have to do is have the worst year of your career.
"You walk the dog all year and then you get presenter of the year. What are we doing here?"

"Someone get me a damn dog and I'll go out walking it for a year."

Piers then joked the vote had been 'rigged'

Then telly host then joked that the vote had been "rigged" and demanded another one.

He joked: "I think we were robbed. I think the election was rigged.

"I think the Russians were involved somehow. Donald Trump is almost certainly to blame for this."
