NTAs 2019 – Katya Jones and husband Neil put on united front as Seann Walsh swerves National Television Awards after Strictly scandal

KATYA Jones put on a united front with her husband Neil at the National Television Awards tonight – as her Strictly dance partner Seann Walsh was a no show.

The shamed comedian, who became the talk of Strictly Come Dancing this year after his drunken snog with Katya, swerved the showbiz event.

He took to Twitter to reveal that he’s in LA doing stand-up shows as he concentrates on his career as a comic after dabbling in the world of reality TV.

“Good luck to the Strictly Come Dancing team at the NTAs tonight. Would love to be there but in US doing shows. Have fun. Look what LA has done to me,” he posted sharing a picture of his breakfast.

Neil and Katya’s romance fell victim to the infamous Strictly Curse last year, when Katya was spotted passionately kissing her celebrity partner, Seann Walsh, after a drunken night out.

Tonight, Neil wrapped a protective arm around his wife as they posed on the red carpet.

Katya looked stunning in a champagne satin gown while Neil was dapper in a midnight blue tux.

Following their sexy snog, Katya and Seann issued a grovelling apology before continuing like normal on the show.

They were eventually kicked off three weeks later – after insiders told The Sun Online that the atmosphere backstage had turned toxic.

However, Katya has continually insisted that her marriage to Neil was not affected by the kiss and admitted last month that she wanted to start a family with him.

Neil hasn’t publicly commented on the scandal, although he did confess that he has had to “deal with a lot of s***” in a poignant Instagram post earlier this month.
