JEMMA Lucy has revealed she is becoming a mum for the first time after falling pregnant unexpectedly.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, the 30-year-old reality star has bravely admitted suffering from depression as she opens up about the "hardest" time of her life.
Jemma was left rocked when she discovered she was set to become a mum after morning sickness suddenly struck.
Feeling alone and vulnerable, the Celebrity Big Brother star isolated herself from friends and family as she spiralled into a dark place.
But Jemma - known for her fiery temper and no-nonsense attitude - pulled herself up off the floor and told herself: "I can do this".
"When I found out I was pregnant I was completely in shock," Jemma told us.
"I didn’t know what I wanted to do at first.
"I don’t think you can ever really prepare yourself for the change that it brings to your life, and even more so when its not planned.
"Having thought about it for ages, I just thought it’s the right thing to do to keep it.
"But the first three months were the hardest, I’m not even joking they were the hardest times of my life.
"It's so difficult because of the emotions you go through."
Fitness fanatic Jemma struggled with health issues early on in her pregnancy, which stopped her from exercising in the gym and going horse riding.
She's also battled chronic insomnia that left her bed-ridden.
"It's literally been so difficult for me," Jemma explains.
"I’ve had a lot of emotional trauma thorough stress and not having support.
"I got really ill, I was tired and on my own. It was horrible. It really made me depressed.
"At one point I thought 'am I going to be like this forever?' because I can’t do this.
"When you’re pregnant things seem a lot worse than they are. I've cried over the stupidest sh*t. It’s not been enjoyable, but finally it's starting to feel less intense."
Now at five months pregnant, Jemma is excited for the future - and says she's looking forward to having welcoming her new baby.
But she's keeping shtum about who her baby's father is as she tries to protect his privacy ahead of their co-parenting journey.
Jemma said: "I don't want everyone to guess who the dad is because they’ll never know.
"It’s someone who’s not in the public eye, someone I’ve known for a while and my situation with him has never been in the public eye and that’s how it's staying."
Her days of wild parties and bad behaviour are over says Jemma, who plans to move on from her glamour modelling career.
But she will always be open with her son or daughter in the future, saying: "There's probably a lot of things available online about me that I'd rather weren't there, but it's got me where I am today.
"It made me a lot of money and it has allowed me to have a certain lifestyle that I would like to hand down."
The former Ex On The Beach star - known for her distinctive tattoos and cosmetic surgeries - is due to give birth in June.

She'll keep fans waiting until then to find out if she's expecting a boy or girl, as she vows to keep it secret.
And then Jemma hopes she can follow in the footsteps of Sam Faiers and Ferne McCann who have gone from reality TV babes to mums with their own telly shows.
She added: "I would absolutely love to show my journey through motherhood.
"People don’t expect me to have a child or be able to look after it. As I have a lot of haters, they’ll want to see that I can't do it - but I'll prove them all wrong."
