DANNY Dyer fears his EastEnders character Mick Carter could be killed off the BBC One soap.
However, the 41-year-old actor, who was cast as the Queen Vic landlord back in 2013, has no intention of leaving Albert Square.
Speaking about the hit show in an NTAs Q&A, which was posted on EastEnders official Twitter account, he said: "I ain't going nowhere."
However, Dani Dyer's dad is aware he has no say in the matter, and his future on the programme is dictated by show bosses.
He continued: "Unfortunately, it's not really my decision to make. It's the powers that be.
"As long as they want Mick around, and as long as Mick's involved in storylines that are inspiring and stuff that I really enjoy playing, and I've got my Carter little mob around me, I ain't going nowhere baby!"
Danny is grateful for a successful six years on EastEnders, which has seen him win two Nation Television Awards for the Best Serial Drama Performance two years running in 2015 and 2016.
He gushed: "It's a great job, very grateful for it! As long as they want me, I'm here!"
The hardman star added: "I think I've been blessed with Mick, to be honest. I think he's an all-rounder, sort of soap character-wise. He's got a bit of everything about him.
He continued: "He can have a bit of Phil Mitchell about him, in terms of [that] he's very protective of his family. He's also got a bit of the Alfie Moon, where you're sort of rooting for him in the respect that he's quite loving and wears his heart on his sleeve.
"I would say Mick's best personality [trait] is, I like his feminine side.
"His worst side of his personality is maybe his aggression. He's quite aggressive. He goes off his head when things are not really going his way. That's what makes us perfect, doesn't it? Our flaws!"
Danny was at the forefront of an intense plot last year, which saw him put in prison for a crime he did not commit.
The star's character was accused of shooting Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ), who harmed himself to frame Mick.
A troubled Mick even resorted to self harming as he struggled with his mental health.
