Who is Billy Fletcher in Emmerdale?
Billy Fletcher is the son of Jessie Grant and brother of Ellis Chapman.
Jessie married Marlon Dingle at Christmas, making Billy an honourary member of the Dingle clan.
Billy was in prison at the same time as Aaron Dingle – who you might remember did time in 2017 after brutally attacking Kasim Sabet.
Who plays newcomer Billy Fletcher in Emmerdale?
Emmerdale newbie Billy Fletcher is played by British actor Jay Kontzle.
Jay has appeared in TV shows such as Fresh Meat and was in the film Diana and I.
As well as acting, Jay is a pretty decent singer and appeared on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2012 as part of boyband The Mend.
The lads were a popular act with viewers and judges and made it through to the live final.
A year before their BGT success they auditioned for The X Factor.
Eagle-eyed viewers might even recognise Jay from an advert for Christmas planning scheme Park.

How does Billy know Aaron Dingle?
When Billy gate crashed Marlon and Jessie’s wedding on Christmas Day, Aaron Dingle was horrified to see him arrive at the reception.
He revealed to husband Robert Sugden that Billy had been part of the gang which made his life a misery in prison.
Aaron was badly beaten in prison and tormented when his fellow inmates – including Billy – discovered he was gay.
Billy has tried to apologise to Aaron since arriving in Emmerdale, explaining that it was kill or be killed in prison.
It remains to be seen if Aaron will be able to put their history behind them and welcome Billy into the family.
