Danny Dyer claims Love Island’s Jack Fincham is ‘punching’ with his daughter Dani as they team up for new show
DANNY Dyer claims Love Island's Jack Fincham is 'punching' by being with his daughter Dani in the first episode of their new reality show tonight.
Love Island winners Jack, 27, and Dani, 23, star in their own programme, Jack and Dani: Life After Love Island.
Dani's EastEnders actor dad Danny, 41, appears in the debut episode alongside wife Joanne Mas, as they visit their daughter on a fashion shoot.
After telling Dani how lovely she looks, Danny and Jo discuss how their daughter's life has changed since winning the ITV2 reality show last summer.
Danny says: "It's weird now she's moved out, I don't see her.
"D'ya know what I mean? She was up our a*** before and now she's gone. It's weird.
"It's a strange old feeling."
As they watch Dani pose happily for the cameras, Jo adds: "But I like that she's more confident."
Danny agrees, saying: "She needed some sort of validation of who she was and she knows who she is now.
"She did take the hard route though, didn't she?
"Going to sit in a villa with loads of people talking b******s".
Jo then joked she had entered her husband for the 2019 series and that his audition is next week, before talk turns to Dani's boyfriend, Jack.
Jo says: "Jack will realise that he's punching above his weight with her with them pictures."
Danny agrees, saying: "He's always been punching though hasn't he?"
Jo replies: "He's going to look at these pictures and think 'there's my girlfriend I'm very lucky'."
Earlier today the couple - who split briefly late last year - looked strained as they arrived back in the UK after a New Year holiday to Dubai.
Jack and Dani: Life After Love Island starts tonight at 9pm on ITVBe.
