OLLY Murs refuses to watch Cheryl on The Greatest Dancer despite being friends.
The Wrapped Up singer will return as a coach on The Voice UK on Saturday night, while Cheryl, 35, will make her debut on the judging panel of the new BBC programme at the same time.
"I love Simon as well."
Pressed about whether that also means he wouldn't watch it on catch up either, Olly replied: "It's all about The Voice for me.
"They should be worried about us."
Meanwhile Cheryl's other pal on The Voice panel, will.i.am, revealed he does plan to watch her latest venture, via Instagram.
He explained: "Instagram is really good because you can just see the good parts; just go through the feed.
The Black Eyed Peas star first met Cheryl when she featured in the music video for his song Heartbreaker in 2007.
More than a decade on, they're still friends, and the 43-year-old wants to see her flourish on The Greatest Dancer.
He said: "I hope they stick with it because I care about Cheryl, she’s like family to me.
"If it’s a one-time thing that’s cool; if it’s the long-haul, stick with it.
"I hope they stick with it. They should fight for an awesome slot."
The Voice UK starts at 8pm on ITV on Saturday, January 5, while The Greatest Dancer also starts at 8pm on BBC One the same day.
