EASTENDERS fans were shocked by Mel Owen last night - not because she tried to bury a man alive, but because her wedding dress had POCKETS.
Viewers were in a frenzy at the innovation after seeing her whip a mobile phone out of the hidden pocket of her bridal gown.

One wrote: "All I can think is 'Woooow Mel's my kinda girl - pockets in her wedding dress. Very practical."
Another gasped: "The real shock here is that Mel’s wedding dress has pockets."

Last night shady conman Ray Kelly was killed off in a bleak woodland showdown which saw Tamzin Outhwaite's Mel attempt to bury Sean Mahon's character.
