EASTENDERS Sean Mahon says his character Ray Kelly could murder Mel Owen in their New Year’s Day wedding showdown.
The actor has warned that bigamist and killer Ray has been ‘backed into a corner’ by Mel’s revenge and might end up lashing out at her.
“He’s a dangerous person, and I think if you’re married to a dangerous person it doesn’t bode well,” he told .
“If you push a rabid dog into a corner they’re going to come at you very, very fast.
“So, as is the case with any decent story, if you’re going to pin him into a corner, he’s going to come out swinging.”
Mel Owen has been plotting revenge on Ray after finding out he’s married to two other women and has been hiding his secret families from her.

He cryptically added that: “The way it’s set up is that the wedding is a set up for Ray, so Mel can win the day.
“On the wedding day, some events happen that may challenge her ability to win the day.”
Fans have a lot of theories about who ends up in a body bag in the woods – from Mel’s son Hunter, to undercover cop Ray – but there’s also a question about who the murderer will be.
Fans even think Phil Mitchell could be set to take revenge on Ray after he threatened him.
