Simon Cowell’s company made £38m in just one year – that’s £73,000 a DAY

SIMON Cowell’s company Syco Entertainment Limited made £38 million in just one year, which equates to £73,000 a day.

The annual report and financial statement reveals the staggering profit of £38,854,398 for the financial year, ending March 2018.

Simon, who is a director of the company, is believed to be worth around £360 million personally.

Syco operates a record label, talent agency, film, music, and television production company, as well as a music publishing house

It has three main divisions Syco Music, Syco TV and Syco Film.

The mogul, who is currently on holiday in Barbados, manages TV shows like The X Factor, which has its own version in 45 countries, and the Got Talent format, which has aired in nearly 200 countries.

Each year the winner of the X Factor gets given a recording deal with the record label.

Last week the The Sun revealed he was planning on making even more money by launching a band of four computer animated monkeys.

David Walliams is expected to write a film script to launch the band, with Cowell aiming to cash in on its soundtrack.

His latest earnings come after his  Britain’s Got Talent co-star Amanda Holden claimed he has no clue about ordinary everyday life.

She revealed: “Simon leaned over to me and went, ‘What’s a Bag For Life?’ I was like, ‘You have a choice. You can buy a bag for 5p or bump it up and get one for 10p’.

“Later, I had to explain to him how you get £1 back on a trolley.

"That was another phenomenon for him.”
