Gary Barlow cancels Take That 30th anniversary world tour dates due to family illness
GARY Barlow has cancelled Take That's 30th anniversary world tour plans due to a family illness - and has asked fans to be understanding.
The singer, 47, told the the group wanted to tour South America and Australia but the family illness means they won't be heading beyond Europe.

He explained: "We had a big ambition next year to do a world tour, but I have actually got an illness in my family and it means I am not going to travel for the next two years extensively.
"I thank my two bandmates who have been so very understanding, but I just have to be at home – I cannot leave."
In a plea to the group's fanbase, he added: "I didn’t want people getting frustrated that we’re not getting out there. I’m a little stuck at the moment, so please be understanding."
The announcement comes just two weeks after Robbie Williams confirmed he'll rejoin the band on tour next year.

The X Factor judge also revealed hopes of persuading Jason Orange to join them after he quit the band in 2014.
Making fans' wishes come true, he told Magic FM: "As long as we stay healthy, I’m sure there’ll be another moment where we all get together.
"Maybe we can coax Jason back, who knows?"
"We shall have to see. But definitely, definitely in the future. We will all ride again."

Robbie Williams says he 'definitely' wants to join Take That on tour after reuniting for X Factor final
Pressed on when fans can expect to their long-awaited reunion, the Rock DJ hitmaker dished: "Next year when the boys are on tour, I’m on tour too.
"If we’re in the same place at the same time, there’s an open mic at my gig.
It came just hours after Robbie said he "definitely" wanted to join the band when he appeared on Lorraine with remaining members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald this morning.
The singer appeared to confirm he would be taking to the stage with the Rule the World hitmakers next year should dates allow.
Speaking to presenter Vick Hope, 29, the pop star, 44, said he would be keen to join them on the band's 30th anniversary UK tour in 2019.

Robbie revealed: “I would like to if we are in the same place then I’m definitely in. I think there is a mic open for me.
"It’s an open invitation both ways. If I’m about I’ll be there.
"They are on tour when Hyde park is happening otherwise they would be there.”
The band members admitted they find performing much more demanding compared to three decades ago.

Mark revealed that everything hurts the next day.
Gary added: "Definitely as you get older you have to start working up to a health regime.
"I’m about to start cardio any minute because to sing and run around a stage and entertain is really quite demanding, especially when we are doing 50 shows next year."
