Black Mirror fans convinced Netflix ‘blunder’ has revealed Bandersnatch movie is coming this Christmas

A full movie called Bandersnatch is set to land just before the New Year

BUNGLING Netflix bosses accidentally revealed that a Black Mirror movie set in 1980s Britain will be coming to the telly service - and you'll be able to watch it next week.

Users spotted the feature-length Bandersnatch on the service where, instead of being listed as an episode, it has been billed as a film.

Bandersnatch, which at an hour and 30 minutes will be the longest Black Mirror ever produced, is due to air on December 28 - giving anyone lucky enough to be off work plenty of time to watch it.

The tagline of the movie, which will arrive with the long-anticipated fifth series, is given as "Be right back" - the meaning of which is anyone's guess.

Not that the mystery has stopped fans hyperventilating. One raved: "BLACK MIRROR MOVIE IN EIGHT DAYS HHHHHHHHHHH."

Another posted: "Black mirror is coming out at the end of this month and it’s going to be a movie 😍 🍿"

A third advised: "Black Mirror movie out on the 28th and season 5 the day after so don’t ask me to come out next weekend my guy."

This summer, parts of Croydon were transformed into 1980s-style shopfronts for the movie, including a WHSmith shop full of music and books from the time.

Locals could have been forgiven for thinking they'd slipped into a time-warp as brands including a retro-looking Pizza Hut and Wimpy begun appearing in the South London suburb.

Older residents were also delighted to see a Soleil travel agent and a branch of defunct fashion chain Chelsea Girl, which was eventually merged to become River Island.
