RYAN Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh have sparked engagement rumours after fans noticed a large sparkler in a new family pic.
The actor uploaded a snap of him, daughter Scarlett and girlfriend Lucy inside a restaurant along with a love heart emoji.
However, eagle-eyed fans spotted a big ring in the snap just days after the couple shared their plans for the future in a chat with magazine.
Adding fuel to the fire was Pretty Little Thing owner and Ryan's good pal Umar Kamani, posting a pair of knowing eyes in the comments section.
The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Lucy for comment.
The couple said that they'll be buying their first home together in the New Year, and once they're settled in it looks like their thoughts will turn to marriage.
Ryan said: "She’s always dropping hints about what she wants to happen. I think Lucy wants me to propose next year!"
Lucy replied: "You’d better get saving because I want a really heavy left hand [laughs]!"
The couple have been together for 18 months and feel now is the right time to take the next step and buy the home they'll start a family in.
Ryan explained: "We want to find a family home that we can stay in for a long time.
Lucy said: "I wouldn’t waste my time with someone if I didn’t believe we were on the same page about children and getting married. I know we both want the same things in the future.
"We’re going to buy a house together. We’ve been together for a year and a half now so the time feels right to take the next step. We’ve already started looking but we haven’t found anything that we love yet."
Content Lucy told how they want a four-bedroom place so they're not forced to move as their brood grows.
