GBBO’s Nadiya Hussain marries her husband again 14 years after their arranged marriage
NADIYA Hussain married her husband Abdal again 14 years after their arranged marriage.
The Nadiya's Family Favourites star revealed the happy news on her Instagram.
In a gushing post, made the announcement to her 216k followers.
She wrote: "Nothing fancy just love. No frills. Just us. We did it again.
"I do. I always will. I would do it all over again."
And her fans were quick to offer their congratulations to the "beautiful couple."
The post showed four pictures from the couple's special day.
In one the second-time newlyweds smile for a selfie and in another they gaze into each other's eyes as they sign the register.
One picture sees Nadiya's hand in Abdal's as she rocks a massive ring across her engagement and middle fingers.
And of course the post wouldn't be complete without a picture of the wedding cake.
Nadiya and Abdal opted for a glittery rainbow delight topped with brightly coloured cupcakes and macaroons.
Within just two hours of uploading, the post had already racked up over 18,000 likes and numerous comments.
The Great British Bake Off winner and Abdal got hitched in an arranged marriage first time round.
She was just 19-years-old when they tied the knot in 2004 and had only met once before they married.
Speaking on Loose Women, the 33-year-old revealed what she looked out for in him when they first met.
She said: "I didn’t see him very well but my sisters did and they went downstairs and said ‘oh my god he’s so good-looking’
Before adding: "But he’s got an enormous butt.
"So now, when I met him for the first time, the first thing I wanted to look at was his butt.
"So I was like I’ve got to check if this a*** is as huge as I think it is."
Nadiya told The Sun: "We're married Islamically but we've never done the proper vows here."
She had previously revealed plans to renew their vows and register their marriage legally.
After baking the Queen's birthday cake two years ago, her vow renewal is just another wonderful thing to tick off the talented star's bucket list.
