Strictly Come Dancing 2018 star Katya Jones’ outrageous flirting with hunky Gorka Marquez left his girlfriend Gemma Atkinson fuming
STRICTLY siren Katya Jones left 2017 contestant Gemma Atkinson furious after outrageously flirting with the actress’s dancer boyfriend, Gorka Marquez.
Married Katya, who was photographed snogging her celeb dance partner Seann Walsh in October, is said to have became besotted with fellow pro Gorka during the Strictly Live Tour in January.

A source said: “Katya was often seen with Gorka during the last series of Strictly.
“She made no secret backstage of the fact that she thought Gorka was attractive and was spotted chatting to him. She was always laughing at his jokes. This inevitably caused a lot of jealousy behind the scenes. It is safe to say there was no love lost between Gemma and Katya.
“Gossip soon began spreading like wildfire. backstage about them.

“But it didn’t seem that Katya’s husband Neil had any idea what was going on, despite him also being present on the show as a dancer.”
Russian beauty Katya, 29, won the BBC One dance show last year with actor Joe McFadden before appearing on its UK tour.

Also on the tour was husband Neil, 35, who appeared as one of the background dancers, Gorka, partnered with pop star Alexandra Burke, and finalist Gemma, 34, paired with Aljaz Skorjanec.
Katya and Gorka, 28, enjoyed a string of boozy night outs after their shows. The source continued: “The Strictly stars have a motto that what goes on tour stays on tour and the behaviour that goes on behind the scenes would make viewers blush if they knew.

“There were even rumours that on a previous tour pro dancers were involved in a threesome at a hotel.
Sexual tension is at an all-time high and the stars and their pro dancers use the tour as a way of letting off steam.
“Katya thoroughly enjoyed flirting with him and Gorka loves female attention — he obviously knew that Gemma fancied him.
“With Katya on the scene as well, Gorka found himself caught in the middle of two stunning women vying for his attention.”

Katya, snubbed from the 2019 Strictly tour along with husband Neil, travelled the UK earlier this year with her fellow dancers and celebs for over a month.
The group would perform a series of routines in front of thousands of paying fans and stay in hotels as they made their way around the likes of Manchester, London and Glasgow to perform in the cities’ arenas.
The source added: “Whenever you arrive in a new city, nightclubs fight to give you the best incentive to entice you down. You are offered unlimited free drinks and the best VIP treatment so it is no wonder that they start to think that anything goes.
“They spend an awful lot of time together and eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together before performing and socialising together. It’s no wonder feelings can start to develop.”

TV star Eamonn Holmes, 59, revealed that wife Ruth Langsford, 58, who appeared as a contestant on the show last year, confided in him that most of the show’s hookups take place when the contestants hit the road.
He said: “I’ve always said the Strictly curse is one person’s curse, and another person’s blessing.
“It’s the ones that get away with it that amaze me – the ones that get away with it over the years.
“It’s not the programme you’ve got to watch, it’s the tour. It’s worse — and they get away with it on tour.”

Although Loose Woman panellist Ruth did not go on the tour, she was still in touch with all her Strictly colleagues.
Eamonn added: “Her and contestants from last year are all in this WhatsApp group and they all text each other and talk about what’s going on.”
Gorka finally confirmed his relationship with Gemma on Valentine’s Day, with the actress later revealing that they did not officially get involved until they went on the road.
Gemma said: “During the show we only saw each other at weekends. Everyone was saying, ‘Oh they’re together’ but we genuinely weren’t.

“We just went for coffee and stuff on Sundays, not every Sunday, you can’t get to know someone just by seeing them at weekends.
“It was only when the tour started that we saw each other all the time and we thought, ‘Oh ok, this could work.’ And it did, and it does so far!”

Katya caused controversy in October when The Sun on Sunday published exclusive pictures of her snogging contestant Seann Walsh on a boozy night out.
While Katya and her British husband Neil fought to save their marriage after the incident, comedian Seann, 33, was publicly dumped by his long-term girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, who accused him of emotional abuse.

Seann later branded love rival Neil “gay” during a stand-up routine on stage in London.
Earlier this week, he was reunited with dance partner Katya to prepare for the group dance by all this year’s contestants for the final.
