He wrote: "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore.

"I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last.

"All I've tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so."

The 25-year-old finished his post with a love heart emoji.

However he has gone on to delete his entire Instagram account, leaving fans even more concerned for his well being.

Earlier this month, Pete hit back at sick trolls who told him to kill himself.

The singer's former fiance has slammed the vile bullies who targeted him online in an emotional Instagram message.

Pete, who split from the singer in October after a brief engagement, opened up about his past mental health issues as he revealed trolls have been giving him hell for nine months.

In the post, he wrote: "I’ve kept my mouth shut. Never mentioned any names, never said a word about anyone or anything...

"I’ve been getting online bullied and in public by people for 9 months.

"I’ve spoken about BPD [borderline personality disorder] and being suicidal publicly only in the hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself who don’t want to be on this earth.”

He added that some trolls have been urging him to harm himself and he insisted he's staying strong.

Pete wrote: "I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself.

"I won't. I'm upset I even have to say this.

"To all those holding me down and seeing this for what it is - I see you and I love you."
