Strictly Come Dancing judges secrets revealed as they prepare for the big final

Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli are the longest remaining judges on Strictly Come Dancing

STRICTLY Come Dancing final is fast approaching, and Joe Sugg, Faye Tozer, Ashley Roberts and Stacey Dooley are squeezing in their last few rehearsals before they take to the dancefloor in the highly anticipated finale on Saturday December 15.

While this series has seen tears, a kissing scandal and full marks on the leaderboard for contestants, it can be easy for judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Dame Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli to slip under the radar.

Craig - who has been a critic on the show since its debut in 2004 - is best known for his harsh criticism and stern words, but the star has a softer side.

The 53 year old is currently dating Jonathan Myring, after they sparked up a romance in February this year, but the pair think their romance will stand the test of time.

Speaking to the Mirror, Craig said: "I can see marriage in the future.”

Craig has previously opened up about his love life in the past, as he has admitted he previously dated a 'sugar daddy' when he was a teenager.

He said: "It was this man who was 43 and I was 17. He said I will pay for your classes but you come away with me and we do the dirty.”

Bruno has also described himself as having a very different personality to the extravagant persona he shows on the BBC One show, as he has admitted he is more introverted behind the scenes.

Speaking previously, he said: "The Bruno you see now is nothing like the guy everyone sees on the show. I can go a week sometimes without talking to anybody – anybody.

"And my favourite holidays are the ones I spend on my own.

“Bruno the judge is a persona that has developed over the years and is related to what Strictly is – it’s glam, it’s energetic. It is one side to my personality. But we all have different sides to us.”

While Bruno may make sexual innuendos in his critical comments to Strictly contestants.

The Dancing With the Stars judge - who is dating Jason Schanne - continued:"I always sleep on my own. “I can’t sleep with somebody else. Always separate bedrooms, bathrooms and closets. I’m very individual and I want my own space.”

Similar to Bruno, Shirley has also had a turbulent relationship history.

The 58-year-old dancing expert - who replaced Len Goodman on the programme as head judge in 2017 - was first married to Sammy Stopford aged 18, before she enjoyed a long marriage with Corky Ballas, although the two divorced after 22 years.

Shirley - who has son Mark with Corky - is currently single, but she has been praised for her sensational appearance by her colleagues.

Shirley's fellow panellist, Craig, previously said: "Her boobs were like La BaZooKa things hanging out. They sewed all that up.  Then they had to push them down... and they’re fake.”

Meanwhile, Darcey Bussell - who officially joined the panel in 2012 after a short stint as a judge in 2009 - has admitted she has a secret stash of goodies at the BBC studio for when she is filming the show.

Speaking previously to , the 49 year old said: "I associate Strictly Come Dancing with crème brûlée.

"I have a little fridge at the BBC that's full of it. I nibble constantly."
