Who are Kat Slater’s sons in EastEnders and why did Alfie Moon keep them away from her?
She hasn't seen her three boys since she's been back in Walford
EASTENDER'S Kat Slater is the mother of five children.
Her three youngest sons are all under ten. So why hasn’t she seen them for almost a year? - here's the lowdown...
Who are Kat Slater’s kids in EastEnders?
Kathleen ‘Kat’ Slater is mum to five children. She gave birth to Zoe Slater – now 34 – back in 1984.
Zoe was the result of Kat’s Uncle Harry sexually abusing her.
Zoe was brought up by Kat’s parents and believed her mum was her sister.
In 2016 Kat discovered that her family had been keeping a secret from her and – when she gave birth to Zoe, she also had a son named Luke.
He was adopted to a family in Ireland and turned out to be a serial killing priest.
In 2010 Kat gave birth to Tommy – the son of Alfie’s cousin Michael Moon who she had an affair with.
Tommy was famously swapped with Ronnie Mitchell’s baby James, who had died from cot death.
Kat spent four months thinking her baby had died before Ronnie confessed to swapping her dead son for Kat’s alive son.
In 2014 Kat gave birth to twin boys who are Alfie’s sons - Bert and Ernie.
Why has Alfie Moon kept Kat way from her young sons?
When Kat arrived back in Walford in early 2018 it was clear she had a big secret as she didn’t have her husband Alfie or her sons with her.
No one could get to the bottom of what had gone on as Kat wouldn’t talk about it.
When her cousin Hayley arrived, it was obvious that something bad had happened while Kat and Alfie were living in Spain and that Alfie had thrown her out.
It was soon revealed that their son Ernie had been badly burnt and needed skin grafts after a boiling kettle fell on him.
At the time Kat was having sex with Alfie’s business partner, Dmitri.
Alfie was furious about Ernie and told Kat she would never see her sons again unless she left the country.
Hayley revealed to Alfie that Kat was having sex with Dmitri when the accident happened.
