She is spending the 25-hour flight in a three-room chamber that comes with a private butler and her own chef to whip up meals as she travels through the time zones.

The luxurious set of rooms also includes her own bathroom and shower and a separate living room and is known appropriately as The Residence.

“She is thrilled that the show has been such a success and she’s had such great fun with Dec. She has loved presenting the show.”

It is thought the 37-year-old paid for the flight herself rather than putting it on her ITV expense account.

On her way out to the jungle, ITV paid for the star’s 13-strong entourage including her stylist and family which is said to have cost “a fortune”.

She was pictured on Tuesday arriving at the Gold Coast airport with her three young children Harry, nine, Belle, seven, and Chester, four, in tow.

But instead of returning straight to the UK, Holly went to Sydney first to take part in a photo shoot for Marks & Spencer.

Arriving at the airport with her kids, Holly was dressed down in a yellow summer dress and a grey Levis sweatshirt.
