Ashley Roberts has ‘no chance’ of winning Strictly final as Stacey Dooley set to lift the glitterball ahead of Joe Sugg and Faye Tozer
Bookmaker Paddy Power told The Sun Online Stacey's popularity is far greater than the other three finalists
ASHLEY Roberts won't be getting her hands on the Strictly Come Dancing glitterball in this weekend's final, according to a leading bookmaker.
The Pussycat Doll, 37, has been in the dance off for three weeks running, narrowly pipping Lauren Steadman, 25, to a place in the final four, alongside Joe Sugg, 27, Faye Tozer, 43, and Stacey Dooley, 31.
Bookmaker Paddy Power has told the Sun Online that money on her to win the prize has all but dried up, with Stacey the overwhelming favourite to win the prize.
The journalist is a 2/5 favourite, almost replicating the odds of I'm A Celeb winner Harry Redknapp on his way to being crowned King Of The Jungle.
A spokesman for the betting firm said: “If the Strictly final was a popularity contest - which it absolutely is - then we’d say there’s no chance Stacey Dooley won’t be crowned the winner.
The numbers won't make good reading for Ashley, who has been left in “floods of tears” as she thinks the show’s viewers don’t want her to win.
Despite regularly topping the leaderboard and scoring 40s, she is convinced that the British public want her out of the show because she’s a trained dancer.
The revealed that Ashley told friends on Saturday: “They don’t want me here.”
Ashley has years of experience as a professional dancer and was in girl group the Pussycat Dolls – famous for their raunchy dance videos.
Ashley came top on the leader board on the show last week, but was sent into dreaded dance-off.
The insider said: “Ashley feels she is not wanted on the show and it is terribly sad for her.
“She is particularly upset because she wasn’t the one who went to the BBC, begging to be signed up for Strictly.
“They approached her, knowing full well what she had done in the past. This has been so sad for Ashley. Imagine going to work when people don’t want you there.”
While Ashley said that she is “working her butt off” to be on the show, her presence has been controversial with viewers and other contestants with no dance experience - such as Stacey and Joe - have been more popular with the audience.
Sun Online Showbiz revealed over the weekend that fans have launched a social media campaign to get her into the dance-off yet again tonight.
Fans of the show took to Twitter to demand voters boycott Ashley and Faye so the former professional dancers will have to face each other in the showdown.
The pair, who both have dance backgrounds, swiped the top two places on the leaderboard on Saturday.
The both won over the judges with their routines, but Ashley did especially well as she got a clean sweep of 10s for her American Smooth.
It put her top of the leaderboard and she was so happy, she burst into tears.
However, fans weren't pleased about the results and flocked to Twitter to urge others to boycott the pair in the vote because of their professional dance backgrounds.
Many insisted the other contestants with less dance experience are more deserving of places in the final.
One tweeted: "#strictly We can blatantly see who they want in the final it’s sickening let’s get the voting right get Ashley and Faye in the DO and get all the non dancers through."

Another added: "Vote for anyone except Faye and Ashley #Strictly."
A third wrote: "Anyways faye and ashley don’t even deserve to be there bc they have dance background, lauren has improved a lot but is frankly the weakest dancer, joe and stacey are both winners. thank you, next #strictly."
Sun Online Showbiz previously revealed that Stacey is being groomed for greatness by the BBC - and is likely to be the big winner this year, whether she lifts the Glitterball trophy or not.
