The television presenter has got into his swimming trunks and put his body on display a number of times since entering the jungle and did so again as he went off with Emily to collect fresh water
I'm A Celebrity viewers could not believe their eyes during Tuesday evening's episode as Nick Knowles stripped off to a tiny pair of swimming trunks
The DIY SOS host, 56, came to the rescue of his fellow campmates when they realised they needed fresh water, and he and fellow campmate Emily Atack, 28, went off to get supplies.
But broadcaster Nick decided he couldn’t conduct this task fully clothed and stripped off to his red smalls.
He told Emily: “You’ll have to excuse me doing it in my swimming trunks but you get so wet,” which prompted the actress to descend into giggles.
Referring to his red socks, she responded: “This is so mental, I love that the socks match as well.”
Taking to Twitter after seeing Nick strip off, many show fans expressed how shocked they were before having a good giggle at Nick.
One person tweeted: "Just turned on ITV to get an eyeful of Nick Knowles' crotch in a pair of red budgie smugglers. Woah."
Another viewer wrote: "Looks like Nick Knowles is thinking about taking up wrestling!! LOLZ"
And another reality television fan posted: "I would have considered voting for Nick but now I've seen those budgie smugglers!!!!"
In the Bush Telegraph, Emily cast member Emily said: “I felt bad because I kept trying not to laugh because otherwise he’d think I was laughing at him but I didn’t know where to look.”
As they set off to collect water, Nick asked Emily if she was laughing at his choice of swimwear.
She attempted to reassure him, insisting: “No I’m laughing at the situation.”
Setting about their task full-on, Nick said: “Right. You pump and I’ll stand here semi naked while you pump. A bit faster if you don’t mind!”
Stifling her laughter, Emily asked Nick if he was wearing Speedos, later adding in the Bush Telegraph: “You couldn’t not mention them, it was the elephant in the room, oh no I can’t say elephant in the room – he’ll be thrilled with that.”
Praising Nick and predicting a great year for the musician in 2019, Emily told him: “Nice one Knowlsey, you are going to be offered a calendar now you do know that.”
But Nick replied: “That’s not going to happen, if I hadn’t lost half my muscle mass while I’ve been in here.”
This is not the first time Nick has put his package on display in the jungle – he previously left little to the imagination in the famous shower as his budgie smugglers clung to his private parts and he fell asleep in his tiny red trunks, covered in nothing else but a hat.
