X FACTOR champ Dalton Harris won't be getting the £1million recording contract handed out to previous winners.
The Jamaican crooner, who beat Scarlett Lee to win last night's final, will still receive a Syco record deal, but Simon Cowell isn't parting with his cash like he used to.
Since 2011, it's believed winners get an initial advance of £150,000 for their first album.
If they continue to impress, the advance rises to £237,000 for a second record.
Acts can expect around £315,000 for a third album and something in the region of £400,000 for a fourth.
When asked what Dalton can expect from his winnings, an X Factor spokesperson told : "A life-changing record deal," but failed to disclose a sum.
While previous victors could brag about bagging a £1million record deal, it's believed most of the money was used to market the winners' single.
The X Factor champ could usually be relied on to hold the Christmas number one spot, with Shayne Ward, Leona Lewis and Sam Bailey all boasting the achievement.
