DERMOT O’Leary made an awkward gag about Jason Orange quitting Take That after the band performed during The X Factor live final.
Fans went wild as Robbie Williams got up on stage to join the band as they performed Everything Changes.
Jason famously walked away from the group in 2014 after admitting being in the band was “ruining his life”.
Tonight after their performance, Dermot joined Robbie, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald on stage.
Joking about their similar outfits, he quipped: “I feel like Jason!”
None of the group reacted and the seasoned host quickly moved on.
Fans were quick to pick up on the comment, with one tweeting: “That awkward silence when Dermot mentioned Jason.”
Another quipped: “Dermot’s Jason joke fell on deaf ears!”
Aside from Dermot’s joke, the group wowed the crowds – with Gary and Robbie firmly putting their feud behind them.
Robbie and Gary famously fell out when the Angels star quit the band in 1995.
Speaking about their fall out, Robbie said: “My problem has always been with Gary. It was always with Gary.
“I wanted to crush him. I wanted to crush the memory of the band - and I didn't let go.
“You know, even when he was down, I didn't let go. And for that I sincerely apologise.”
