Noel Edmonds’ wife Liz fears things are LIVING IN his beard as she likens him and Harry to the Chuckle Brothers
NOEL Edmonds' wife Liz has compared him and Harry Redknapp to the Chuckle Brothers.
The TV presenter's wife of almost ten years admitted that her favourite part of I'm A Celeb is watching their banter.
Liz, 49, spilled the beans on her thoughts on watching her husband on the hit ITV show as she touched down Down Under ahead of Sunday night's first eviction.
The make-up artist revealed: "My favourite moments were him doing the trials with Harry."
And she even likened the unlikely pals to famous comedy duos: “It’s like watching the Chuckle Brothers together or those two Muppets, the old ones in the box.”
She also said 69-year-old Noel “doesn’t look or act his age".
She added: “He has got more energy than I have to be honest and that has to be admired.
“I think he’s doing really well. He is doing us proud. I can’t wait to see him.
"He’ll be brushing his teeth and grooming that beard."
Before expressing her concern about what critters have managed to nest in his facial hair, adding: "God knows what’s living in it now.”
Noel and Harry, 71, have hit it off in the jungle - and they're so close that they're already jabbing each other like old pals.
The Deal Or No Deal host left fans shocked when he mocked Harry's trial for tax evasion.
The football manager was cleared of taking tax-free bungs in 2012 after investigators found £189,000 in a Monaco bank account in the name of his pet dog Rosie.
Talking to Noel about a challenge they were about to face, he said: "I hope it's nothing too complicated. I'm not too good at doing things like puzzles."
"And tax returns," shot back Noel, making Harry wheeze with laughter.
"Tax returns ooooo noel went in on Harry," one fan posted.
Another wrote: "To be fair, Noel has done Harry there with that tax returns gag 😂"
A third praised Harry for taking it so well, saying: "Harry is the star of I’m a Celeb this year; his stories are truly hilarious! Even Noel’s tax jibe comment didn’t faze him! 😂😂"
