How old is Dolph Lundgren?

Dolph is 61 years old having been born on November 3, 1957, in Sweden.

The Spanga native was the son of a language teacher mother and a Swedish government economist father.

He spent time in America for a while in the 1970s to study chemical engineering at Washington State University and Clemson University, before making a return to home to complete his compulsory year in the Swedish Marine Corps.

Dolph was very active in Karate throughout his life, winning numerous ranks and championships.

Is he married?

Dolph married the jewellery designer and fashion stylist Anette Qviberg in 1994.

Their wedding tied the knot in Marbella and ended up buying a home for themselves there.

The couple has two daughters together named Ida Sigrid and Greta Eveline, both of whom were born in Stockholm.

The pair has previously admitted that the reason they choose to avoid living in Hollywood is to give their children a normal childhood.

Who does he play in Aquaman?

Dolph plays the character King Nereus in Aquaman alongside Jason Momoa and Amber Heard.

He is the father of Amber Heard's character Mera and the king of the Atlantean tribe of Xebel.

The film sees Jason Momoa's character realise he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis and work to lead his people while being a hero to the world.

The movie will be released in the UK on December 12, 2018.
