The X Factor’s Dalton Harris beams as he films emotional homecoming scenes with friends and family
DALTON Harris beamed as he filmed emotional homecoming scenes with his friends and family.
The X Factor finalist was filled with emotion as he was greeted warmly by loved ones in his hometown.
There was no wiping the Cheshire cat smile off his face as he saw the gathering that awaited him.
Family, friends and fans greeted Dalton, 24, in London as he stepped off a coach personalised with his face and 'Vote Dalton' slogan on the side.
And the singer couldn't resist taking a selfie alongside the blow-up picture of himself.
Before he even arrived, Dalton had punched a jubilant fist in the air as he headed towards the homecoming in the fancy coach.
And the reception certainly did not disappoint - though perhaps that was to be expected with 22 brothers and sisters.
The Jamaican national has wowed the judges from day one and it's clear that he has now amassed a huge following.
Crowds gathered carrying the Jamaican flag and banners saying #TeamDalton and 'Vote Dalton.'
And the singer reciprocated the love by happily taking selfies with fans.
He even appeared to be dancing in the street despite the grey skies and rain.
But even the gloomy weather couldn't wipe the massive smile off his face as he is now prepares for his best performance yet on Sunday night's final.
Just days ago in an exclusive chat with the Sun Online ahead of the X Factor finals, Dalton revealed: "I've never technically been on a date."
He added: "Ariana Grande is a beautiful girl... And she's single now so..."
The Jamaican singer, who is mentored by Louis Tomlinson, opened up about the abuse he has been getting about his sexuality.
"People just presume.. 'oh look they are together.'"
Dalton added: "But I don't think they believe that. They just think it's a fun thing to do."

Addressing the relationship rumours he said: "The thing is where I'm from there's a lot of toxic masculinity. I'm me and he's him. I don't know why we always sexualise everything. It is what it is, and we still are what we are."
Dalton was recently forced to hit out at trolls on social media after being bombarded by hateful messages about him and Brendan.
He said: "If I didn’t know myself I would have been broken today by all the ignorance!
“I would have actually believed what you thought of me, good thing I know exactly who I am and I am far from broken… You cannot touch me mentally or in any other way. So believe me when I say I am not phased."
Keeping upbeat about the finals, Dalton gave his wish list of who he would like to perform with.
He said: "If we can afford her, Beyonce. Or if we can afford her, Adele, or Michael Bolton."
