AMIR Khan's wife Faryal Makhdoom has hit back at trolls who accused her of being a 'bad Muslim' for posing on the red carpet days after completing a holy pilgrimage.
The 27-year-old shared a picture of herself and Khan in glamorous outfits at the OK! Beauty Awards on Instagram on Monday.
But several followers attacked the businesswoman for posting the shots just days after she completed Umrah - the holy Islamic pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia.
One troll wrote: "One day in allah's house wearing nikab and the next with her legs out. Drake wrote 0-100 real quick for you sister."
Rap artist Drake's song 0-100 features lyrics about a sudden change of mood.
But Faryal fired back: "Don't be listening to drake boo it's harram [forbidden by Islamic law] too."
After being hit by a flood of negative comments, some Instagram users came to the mum-of-two's defence.
One user wrote: "If only you know the commenters are embarrassing Islaam waaaaaaaay more then what she wears or does. Anyone seeing this will never even consider that your religion teaches one to be kind and non judgemental and to MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!
Another added: "Stunning! What a beautiful looking couple Masha’Allah! ... Please ignore the haraam police. They talk as if they are free of sins and the purest of Muslims. Enjoy your life to the fullest girl!"
Khan and Makhdoom are back together after a series of public splits over the last 18 months.
