Strictly and EastEnders star Kara Tointon gives birth to a baby boy
FORMER soap star Kara Tointon has given birth to a baby boy.
The 35-year-old actress has welcomed her first child with her fiancé Marius Jensen on Thursday 22 November.
A source close to the former EastEnders star - who is best known for playing Dawn Swann in the soap - exclusively told The Sun Online: "Kara gave birth on Thursday to a little baby boy."
A family member confirmed to us Kara had given birth, saying she and her partner Marius were “very happy”.
The beauty announced she was pregnant in October 2018, and only had a few weeks until her due date.
The Strictly Come Dancing 2010 champion described finding out she was pregnant as the "biggest life changing moment".
Speaking previously to Hello! magazine, The Sound of Music Live star said: "It is the biggest life-changing moment when you have this little human being coming into your life that you are yet to meet.
“For me it was always about meeting the person that you know is the one you want to share this experience with.
"Marius and I said: ‘If it happens, we are ready, but we won’t plan.'
"And then it happened quite quickly.”
Kara and chiropractor Marius started dating in 2017 and earlier this year the couple got engaged.
Kara's partner had planned to pop the question on a luxury holiday in India, but couldn't wait any longer to ask the star to be his wife.

Instead Marius popped the question to Kara in bed at their home in West London.
Kara said at the time: "We were having a lie-in and I had no idea he was planning to propose.
“It was so perfect as I am not someone who likes big moments, and it was just very Marius. It was very lovely, very relaxed.”
